Authentic 1970 Mustang Boss 302 - Yellow/Black
This Boss 302 was a special order vehicle, built in Dearborn Michigan that has all the correct parts; the engine block is the correct DOZE casting. This is a rare car and has all of the right options. This car came from the factory as a Yellow Exterior Paint, black trim, standard 9 inch 3.50 traction loc rear axle, interior décor group, knit and vinyl Hi Back buckets seats (flair option) , four speed close manual transmission , F60 belted wide oval tires. Exterior décor group in addition to the Boss 302 options included in the Boss package. Power front disc brakes, color keyed racing mirrors, space saver spare, quick ratio steering, competition suspension, functional front spoiler, color keyed carpeting, instrument gauges. This Boss 302 is in Boss Registry as an authentic car.
The undercarriage of this car is nicely detailed and shows well. The restoration was done properly and it shows as the car has the correct riveted upper and lower control arms and many other areas where restorers fall short. It retains an original smog pump, DOZE radiator, DOZE -9510 carburetor, rev limiter , air cleaner and snorkel. These are big dollar parts that so many of these cars are missing. This Boss 302 comes complete with a factory build sheet, copies of registrations and certificates of titles from previous owners. This Boss 302 has a Marti Report, build sheet, restoration photos and receipts, prior sale invoices. A sale invoice and ad from 1989 shows it advertised as an original car with original engine. As correct and documented as this car is the best part about it is that it runs and drives like it should!
